The tender covers the management of approximately 450,000 tonnes of end-of-life tires (ELTs) annually over a four-year period, starting January 1, 2027. This move is expected to support supply chains and partnerships across the tire recycling sector in France and wider Europe.

At its core, the tender reflects the growing importance of structured Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems, where large compliance schemes like Aliapur play a central role in organizing collection, processing, and recovery flows at scale.

The scope of the tender is comprehensive and spans the full tire recycling value chain. It includes the collection, sorting, and preparation of reusable tires, alongside processing operations such as shredding and material recovery.
