Fornnax is pleased to announce its significant project with RPM Automotive Group Limited, a prominent Australian automotive parts distributor. This ambitious initiative demonstrates RPM's strong commitment to environmental responsibility within Australia’s tyre recycling industry. To achieve its objectives, RPM strategically integrated Fornnax's high-capacity SR-200 HD primary shredder into its operations in 2024.

Bridgestone Corporation announced that it will be supporting the 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge (BWSC) with ENLITEN™ technology tires, which feature the first application of new recycled materials developed through co-creation with partners, increasing the ratio of recycled and renewable materials to over 65%. The company will supply these tires to 33 teams from 17 locations.

Recently, New Zealand’s Tyrewise released Milestone 2 report, which details its operational results from January to March 2025. Mark Gilbert, Chair of Auto Stewardship New Zealand said Tyrewise is on route to meeting its targets and contributing to sustainable tyre management. Tyrewise is showing strong operational results, ongoing improvements to systems, and is engaged in developing strategies to address gaps in infrastructure and market demand for tyre derived products and fuel.

Lummus Technology, a global provider of process technologies and value-driven energy solutions, and InnoVent Renewables announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work toward licensing and deploying InnoVent’s continuous tire pyrolysis technology globally. “This is another significant step in expanding and strengthening our portfolio for the circular economy,” said Leon de Bruyn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lummus Technology.

Continental is integrating even more renewable and recycled materials into its tire production. While their share averaged 26 percent in 2024, the tire manufacturer expects this figure to increase by two to three percentage points in 2025. This increase is due to the use of synthetic rubber obtained from renewable or circular oil, polyester made from recycled PET, recycled steel, and innovative fillers such as silica from rice husk ash. In addition to introducing various sustainable materials, changes in the product mix may influence this key figure's development.

The Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (TRAC) announced its new Board of Directors following its Annual General Meeting of members held on June 4, 2025. At that meeting, the members elected Phillip Diogenes of Bridgestone Canada Inc. as a new director. The Officers of TRAC include Chris Figel of AirBoss of America Corp. as Chair of the Board; Lawrence Kumar of Yokohama Tire (Canada) as Vice Chair; and Paul Christou of Goodyear Canada Inc. as Treasurer.

Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) CEO Fredrik Emilson and CFO Fredrik Aaben have subscribed for a total of 3,980,769 shares, valued at just over SEK 3.3 million, as part of the company’s recently completed rights issue. The rights issue raised approximately SEK 240 million, significantly boosting Enviro’s cash position.
