Rosehill Rail, a British manufacturer of railroad accessories and spares from recycled tire rubber, tells how its products help create a safer environment at a new train station in London. "Cricklewood sidings in North London — built to service the new Brent Cross West Station due to open in December — have capacity for up to 24 trains and features our Interlocking and Baseplate Crossing Systems alongside Rubber Edge Beams and Anti-Trespass Panels," – Rosehill's LinkedIn channel reports.

Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA) invites tire recycling industry stakeholders to join the ecologiQ Greener Infrastructure Conference on 6-7 September 2022 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Tyre Stewardship Australia says the ecologiQ will serve as a platform where the industry comes together to drive circular change in transport infrastructure. According to TSA, the two-day conference will deliver an unrivalled program featuring diverse industry leaders, a dynamic trade hall full of suppliers of recycled and reused products, networking events and site tours.

In order to benefit from the most recent technology available to the trucking industry, Liberty Tire Recycling decided to switch from short-term leasing to full-service leasing and teamed with PacLease. By recycling more than 190 million tires annually, Liberty Tire reclaims approximately 3 billion pounds of rubber each year. Liberty Tire's recycled rubber is utilized to make creative, environmentally friendly goods including playground and landscape equipment that are offered at more than 15,000 retail establishments across North America.

Ambipar announced the acquisition of the assets and industrial waste management contracts of Blue Ambiental. Blue Ambiental is a tire, and waste rubber processor, part of the tyre industry reverse logistics, which operates in the Ceará market and which, in the last 12 months, processed more than 4,500 tons of tires and rubber.

A massive transportation operation earlier in 2022 relocated Kuwait's tire graveyard. The tires were transported to Al-new Salmi's recycling facility. There was an urgent need to deal with the estimated 42 million tires that had been dumped in the desert, and the original dump site had been designated for a new housing development. There was an intense competition to win the contract to recycle the tires, and EPSCO was one of the winners.

With an estimated 150,000 tons of waste tires produced annually in Bahia (Argentina), the province seems to lack a solution to the problem of end-of-life tires. The impact of the waste tyres is due to several factors, among which are their composition since they contain 80% rubber, 15% steel and 5% textile fibre, and compounds that take thousands of years to degrade.

The Executive Board looked back on the year 2021, in which the company had reached important milestones on the way to the commercial development of its pyrolysis technology and achieved a total output of 3.7 million euros. The shareholders present approved all agenda items with a large majority.
