Eco Infinic Co., Ltd. expands plant to boost capacity and strengthen R&D capabilities

Eco Infinic announced that the second-phase expansion of its Chon Buri, Thailand facility will be completed by the end of 2025. Upon completion, the plant’s capacity to process end-of-life tires will increase to 100,000 metric tons per year, while annual production capacity of recovered carbon black (rCB) and tire pyrolysis oil (TPO) will reach 30,000 metric tons and 35,000 metric tons, respectively, significantly expanding the company’s overall production scale.

Alcoa Australia has started delivering used conveyor belts from its mining operations to Tyrecycle’s recycling facility in East Rockingham, Western Australia. The first reel arrived on 24 September, marking a new step in the partnership between the two companies. At the facility, steel wire from the belts will be reclaimed and the rubber processed into crumb for use in applications such as road construction.

Pyrum Innovations AG published its consolidated financial results for the first half of 2025, reporting revenue of EUR 1.27 million, up 79% from the same period in 2024. Total output rose 48% to EUR 6.71 million, supported by ongoing investments in the second Pyrum plant in Perl-Besch and commissioning work for new facilities in Dillingen. Capitalized own work reached EUR 5.21 million, compared to EUR 3.61 million a year earlier.
